We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Humphree Sales Team as an International Sales Manager! As Humphree continues to expand, we are looking for passionate individuals who share our vision and want to be part of something innovative and unique. We are now seeking a driven Regional Sales Manager to join us at our HQ office in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Let Us Describe the Challenge We Offer
Humphree AB is a leader in the Marine Leisure, Commercial, and Governmental industries. As our business grows, we are looking for an International Sales Manager to support and enhance our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Sales Director, managing the Humphree Stabilization Systems market through our established distributor network and local partners. You will also play a key role in driving new business opportunities by identifying prospects via distributors, OEM partners, shipyards, and owners.
Your Responsibilities
- Business Development & Customer Management: Plan and execute business development for new and existing clients, including distributors, shipyards, designers, and OEM customers. Manage customer relationships, provide support, and meet performance objectives.
- Project & Sales Management: Oversee multiple projects, ensuring adherence to specifications, budgets, and timelines. Prepare quotations, follow up on sales inquiries, and report project progress.
- Sustainable Solutions & Market Engagement: Develop and propose sustainable solutions, identify new business opportunities, and maintain technical knowledge. Participate in exhibitions, boat shows, and sales visits to promote the business.
A Typical Day
As an International Sales Manager, your day will be varied and dynamic. You’ll be mapping new opportunities, conducting customer presentations, building relationships, finding new partners, providing technical and sales training to our network, and managing ongoing sales opportunities. Every day brings new challenges and exciting tasks!
Further On You
- Education and Experience: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or similar, or equivalent work experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in the marine industry, preferably in technical sales.
- Software Skills: Strong experience with Microsoft Office programs.
- Language Skills: Excellent English skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge of other local languages is beneficial.
- Technical Expertise: Experience with 2D and/or 3D drawings is beneficial.
- Industry Knowledge and Personal Attributes: Established network within the marine industry is beneficial. Strong communication, analytical, and listening skills. Excellent time management, follow-up skills, and a "go-getter" attitude.
