We're currently hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer on a fixed-term contract through 1 January 2027.
Role Overview
As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Humphree, you'll be involved in the the full lifecycle of mechanical components and systems - from early concept through to delivery and beyond. You will have the possibility to work under the same roof as other experts ranging from production, sales
Responsibilities
· Design and develop mechanical components and systems from requirements through to validated prototypes
· Run feasibility studies and cost analyses to land on the best technical solution
· Create and iterate on 3D models and engineering drawings in CAD (Solid Edge)
· Keep all design data up to date in our PLM system (Teamcenter)
· Step into cross-functional quality task forces when issues touch your components
· Troubleshoot design-related problems during manufacturing and assembly
· Get to the root cause of defects and put the right corrective actions in place
· Maintain clear and thorough design documentation — technical reports, calculations, engineering change logs, and project plans
· Update and maintain the HW Change Log to ensure traceability of design modifications across product lifecycle stages.

· A master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
· A few years of practical experience in mechanical design
· Fluency in both English and Swedish
· A track record of taking products from concept to market (mechatronic products is a plus)
· You pride yourself in designing high quality products and has a attention to detail but at the same time understand that time to market is vital for a product to be successful or not.
