Humphree is an entrepreneurial company in the marine industry. We develop industry leading trim and stabilization systems for motor vessels. Our interceptors and fins contribute to lower fuel consumption, and thus reduced environmental impact, while improving the comfort for people onboard. Our market is global, and our products are mounted on some of the worlds most advanced ships. All our departments are represented in new, operationally adapted premises in Gothenburg. Here you can follow our stabilization systems from the design stage, through prototype and testing to final production, all within walking distance from your desk. We have a close collaboration between the departments and our products span several technology areas.

About the role

As a Mechanical Test Engineer you will play a key role in ensuring the high quality of both new and existing products. You will be a part of the Mechanical Engineering Department and your responsibilities will include: 

• Build up and improve our testing capabilities
• Mechanical testing of a wide range of products 
• Write test plans and development of new test methods for prototype verification
• Design and operate custom testing fixtures and devices
• Analyze and report test results and data needed to evaluate the product.
• Collaborate with other engineers on design modifications
• Conduct field testing to verify product performance

Who are you?

• You have a strong engineering background with a bachelor or master's degree in mechanical engineering or similar.
• You have at least a couple of years of work experience from a similar role
• You have expertise with CAD
• You are fluent in written and spoken English
• You are are driven to get stuff done, in close collaboration with your team
• You are thorough and well organized
